Welcome baby!

Good morning my friends! Wishing you a happy Wednesday! Today I have a babycard to share with you. Cute and pink, hi hi. These are all Papertrey products, except the ribbon, I found that in my box of ribbons (the only thing that is still a mess, ha ha) I made this for the Baby card challenge from A Passion for Papertrey. Also there are some of my friends very pregnant, so this could come in handy, hi hi. I'm curious what you think of this card. I was thinking about adding a pink cloud, but in the end I decided to leave it like this. What do you think? Any crafting plans for you today? I'm off to work now, but who knows, this evening maybe? Goedemorgen blogvriendinnen! Ik wens jullie een hele vrolijke woensdag! Vandaag heb ik een babykaartje om te laten zien. Schattig en roze, hi hi. Het zijn allemaal Papertrey spullen, behalve het lintje, dat vond ik in mijn doos met lint (het enige dat nog steeds een zootje is, ha ha) Ik heb deze kaart gemaakt voor de babykaartjes challenge van A Passion for Papertrey. En er zijn ook wat vriendinnen hoogzwanger, dus hij komt vast snel van pas, hi hi. Ik ben benieuwd wat jullie er van vinden. Ik heb zitten twijfelen over toevoegen van een roze wolk, maar uiteindelijk heb ik het niet gedaan. Wat vinden jullie? Goed zo, of kaal? Hebben jullie nog knutselplannen vandaag? Ik ben zo naar het werk, maar wie weet, vanavond nog misschien? Ik wens jullie een heel fijne dag!

Great big hugs!

We did it! A new week has started! ;-) And for this reason, I'm sending you this card with Great big hugs! Hope you had a lovely Monday! I had a nice day, but I do feel kind of tired... Maybe that's because Summertime has started and we had one hour less Saturday night. Who knows? I can't believe I had over 70 comments on my previous card! Thank you all, that was so sweet! Today I have a Waltzing Mouse card to share. I had this idea in mind, but then I found out I didn't really have a lot of soft ink colors, hi hi, one more wish for the wish list! ;-) I love stamps with an Asian touch. I sent this one to my Malaysian blogfriend, who's now in New Zealand, this card is quite the world-traveler, hi hi, wish I could follow it! Wishing you a lovely week!

Yes, het is gelukt! Een nieuwe week is begonnen! ;-) En daarom stuur ik je deze kaart met Great big hugs! Ik hoop dat je een fijne maandag hebt gehad! Ik had een fijne dag, maar ik voel me wel redelijk moe... Misschien door de Zomertijd die zaterdag in gegaan is. Wie zal het weten? Ik kan echt niet geloven dat ik op mijn vorige post meer dan 70 reacties heb gehad! Dankjulliewel allemaal, dat was zo ontzettend lief! Vandaag heb ik een Waltzing Mouse kaart om te delen. Ik had dit idee al in mijn hoofd, maar toen ontdekte ik dat ik bijna geen pastelkleuren inkt heb, hi hi, nog wat voor de wishlist! ;-) Ik ben gek op stempels met een Aziatische sfeer. Deze kaart heb ik naar m'n Maleisische blogvriendin gestuurd, die momenteel in Nieuw Zeeland is, deze kaart is een aardige wereldreiziger, hi hi, ik wou dat ik hem achterna kon! Ik wens je een superleuke week toe!

Hello friends! Today I have some wise owls for you! That's what this Papertrey stamp set is called. Love these little guys. I colored the yellow tints of cardstock just a little with some Copics, to put some accents and shadow there, this is the Make It Mondays Challenge from Papertrey. There's also a Blog Hop today, which had the theme to use some embroidery in your project. The text stitching says 'zomaar' which is Dutch for 'for no specific reason'. Hope to join in for the Blog Hop, never did that before. Today I have the day off, so I had time for this. It's such a treat to have this fun day to myself every two weeks! Unfortunately the sun isn't shining like yesterday, but I always have enough projects in the house as well! ;-) Hope you like my owly card and that you're having a lovely day!

Hello friends! Vandaag heb ik een wijze uilen kaart voor jullie! Zo heet deze Papertrey set ook: Wise owl. Ik vind deze zo leuk. Ik heb het gele tinten cardstock een beetje ingekleurd met Copics, om wat accentjes en schaduw te geven. Dit is de Make It Mondays Challenge van Papertrey. Er is ook een Blog Hop vandaag, met als thema bordueren op je projects. Deze 'zomaar' tekst is van Marianne Design. Ik hoop dat het lukt om mee te doen met de Blog Hop, heb ik nooit eerder gedaan. Ik heb vandaag m'n atv-dagje, dus lekker de tijd om mee te doen. Is altijd zo heerlijk, dit vrije dagje om de week! Helaas is de zon niet meer zo lekker aan het schijnen als gisteren, maar ook binnen altijd genoeg dingen te doen! ;-) Ik hoop dat je m'n uilen kaartje leuk vind en ik wens je een super leuke dag!

Hello and good morning!

Today I have a Hero Arts card to share with you, one I made for Sandra, a lady in Canada, for the Card Chain Challenge of Deborah. I will also receive a card from somewhere in the world, curious what that will be! It was so much fun to make this card! I had the idea of stamping these antique engravings in brown of kraft in mind for quite a while. Love the combination of the bright turquoise with the kraft, so when I had these ideas, the rest was easy, hi hi. But getting there took me quite a while... I do more and more think of the card idea in my mind, until I finished it, in my mind and sketch, and then I go and make it. Maybe that's because I spend more time anywhere else, than behind my crafting desk and this way I can just start producing! ;-) Do you also do this? Do you make a sketch? Would love to know about your process in making a card. And hope you like this one!

Hallo en goedemorgen!

Vandaag heb ik een kaart met Hero Arts te laten zien, die ik heb gemaakt voor Sandra, een dame uit Canada, voor de Card Chain Challenge van Deborah. Ik krijg ook een kaart van ergens uit de wereld, erg nieuwsgierig wat dat zal zijn! Het was zo leuk om deze kaart te maken! Ik had al een tijdje het idee om de Antique Engravings in bruin op kraft te stempelen en ik vind de combinatie van helder turquoise en kraft zo mooi, dus toen ik deze ideeën had, was de rest een makkie, hi hi. Maar tot daar komen duurde wel even, hoor... Meer en meer bedenk ik de kaart eerst helemaal in m'n hoofd en op een schets en dan pas ga ik aan de slag. Misschien is dat omdat ik meer tijd niet dan wel achter m'n knutsebureautje zit en op deze manier kan ik gewoon gelijk beginnen met maken. Doe jij dit ook? Maak je een schets? Ik zou graag meer horen over jullie proces van kaarten maken. En ik hoop natuurlijk dat je deze leuk vindt!
