Happy birdie-birthday!

Hello everyone! How are you? How's the weather where you are? Summery or like here in the Netherlands, like autumn still? Well, I wanted to share this happy card with you. Well, at least, it makes me happy, ha ha! I love these cute little birdies and I put them on a card in bright colors (brighter when you see it in real life) and let them sing a happy birthday song! Do you like it? There's also music paper impressed in the back, I luuuv those impression plates from Papertrey, more subtle than the Cuttlebug ones. Do you use embossing often? I love putting texture on my cards, really adds something I think! Well, hope you are enjoying the week so far and wishing you a lovely day!

Hallo allemaal! Hoe gaat het? Schijnt er bij jullie al een zonnetje? Pfff, ik heb wel zin in een zonnetje weer eens! Ik wou graag deze vrolijke kaart met je delen. Tenminste, ik vind hem vrolijk, ha ha! Ik vind deze lieve vogeltjes zo ontzettend leuk en ik heb ze samen in heldere kleuren (ze zijn nog een stuk helderder in het echt) op de kaart gezet en ze samen een verjaardagsliedje laten zingen! Vind je het leuk? Op de achtergrond nog muziekpapier geëmbost, ik ben echt gek op deze impression plates van Papertrey, ze zijn veel subtieler dan die van Cuttlebug. Gebruik jij vaak embossing? Ik ben er gek op om wat textuur aan m'n kaartjes toe te voegen, maakt het net wat bijzonderder, vind ik. Ik hoop dat je een beetje van de week aan het genieten bent en ik wens je een heel fijne dag toe!

Papertrey July Blog Hop Challenge

Hello my friends! Another card from me today, just in time to take the photo before it gets dark! ;-) I saw it was the Papertrey July Blog Hop Challenge today and I loved the inspiration photo and really wanted to join in and here's my card! The colors in the photo were so pretty and I saw butterflies and medallions on the pillows, so I really wanted to use those stamps! Love them! I also wanted to do something with the window, so I used a die for this. What do you think? Did it work out nice? Hello my friends! Nog een kaart van mij vandaag, net op tijd voor het donker werd de foto gemaakt! ;-) Ik zag dat het de Papertrey July Blog Hop was vandaag en ik vond de inspiratie foto zo mooi en wou heel graag mee doen, dus gauw en de slag en dit is hem geworden! De kleuren in de foto zijn zo mooi en ik zag vlinders en medaillons in de kussens, dus die stempels wou ik graag gebruiken. Verder wou ik iets doen met het raam en dat is deze stansvorm geworden. Wat vind je er van? Is het leuk geworden? Neem vooral ook een kijkje op het blog wat de andere dames gemaakt hebben met deze foto's, er zijn super mooie kaarten bij. Ik hoop dat je de mijne ook leuk vindt en leuk dat je langs kwam!

Happy Flowery Birthday!

Good morning! Hope you all enjoyed your weekend! We did! We were away for the weekend with my parents-in-law, to Brugge, a very very lovely city in Belgium. It's really like walking in a museum, soooo many gorgeous old buildings and in such a big area. We truly loved it. They predicted quite bad weather, but we only had about ten drops of rain and quite a lot of sun even, so that was perfect! On our way back, when we crossed the Dutch border, it almost immediately started raining badly and it didn't stop, so I think we were very lucky! Today I have this yellow flower card for you. This Hero Arts flower is so pretty, I think. I combined it with a structure background and on the panel behind the flower is clear embossing, but you don't see it very well here on the photo. Goedemorgen! Ik hoop dat jullie allemaal lekker van je weekend hebben genoten! Wij zeker! We waren dit weekend even weg met m'n schoonouders, naar Brugge in België, zo'n ontzettend mooie stad. Het is echt net of je in een museum loopt, met zooo veel prachtige oude pandjes en zo'n groot gebied ook! We vonden het geweldig! En ook een kort tripje naar Knokke aan de kust was heel geslaagd. Ze hadden behoorlijk slecht weer voorspeld, maar we hebben ongeveer tien druppels regen gehad en aardig wat zon, dus dat was perfect! Op de terugweg begon het, toen we net de Nederlandse grens weer over waren, weer flink te regenen en toen hield het ook niet meer op, ha ha, dus ik denk dat we veel geluk hebben gehad met onze bestemming! Vandaag heb ik deze gele bloem-kaart voor je. Deze Hero Arts bloem vind ik zo mooi! Ik heb hem gecombineerd met een structuur achtergrond en achter de bloem zit nog clear embossing, maar dat zie je niet zo goed op de foto. Ik hoop dat je hem leuk vindt en ik wens je een heerlijke dag!

Hello! Finally again a new card from me. Gosh, it has been a busy week... Sorry I haven't been around much, but I see less posts popping up with other people as well, guess the holidays period has started! For me it's not because of holidays, still here in the grey and wet Amersfoort ;-( but because of a lot to do at work... Because colleagues are on holidays, ha ha! I've got this cutie card for you today, with a little set from Papertrey. This set has such cute images, love it! I didn't want to do too much, think that worked, hi hi. Hallo! Eindelijk weer eens een nieuw kaartje van mij. Jeetje, wat was het een drukke week... Sorry dat ik er niet zo veel was deze week, maar ik zie ook wel minder posts verschijnen eigenlijk bij andere mensen, misschien is de vakantieperiode nu toch echt begonnen! Niet voor mij trouwens, ik ben nog steeds in het grijze en natte Amersfoort ;-( maar voor mij is het vanwege de hoeveelheid werk op het werk.. Omdat collega's op vakantie zijn en gaan, ha ha!
