Boeddha Bloom

Voor een vriendin die boeddha's spaart heb ik deze kaart gemaakt. Het papier dat er achter zit, vond ik helemaal super, toen ik dit in de winkel zag, maar ik wist een tijd niet wat er mee te doen. Dit is het geworden! Wat vinden jullie er van? Ook het groene papier op de achtergrond vind ik zelf super leuk! Ik heb deze kaart pas af en wou hem net op m'n blog gaan zetten, maar ik was nog even bij de nieuwe berichtjes van mijn gevolgde blogs aan het kijken en toen zag ik dat Yvonne een challenge heeft bedacht met een kaart zonder afbeelding. Wat leuk! Daar doe ik dan dus met deze kaart graag aan mee! Wie weet maak ik eens kansje! En ik hoop natuurlijk dat m'n vriendin blij is met deze nieuwe boeddha voor haar verzameling!

Vandaag hebben we verder niet zo'n hele fijne dag gehad... M'n vriend Pim heeft afgelopen donderdag een blessure aan z'n enkel opgelopen bij het tennissen. Vrijdag bij de huisarts zeiden ze gewoon een verstuiking. Vandaag moesten we terug komen, maar de zwelling was nog altijd niet weg en hij was bont en blauw en Pim kon er echt nog niet op staan. Na aandringen werd er toch maar een foto gemaakt.. Eerst zei de huisarts nog dat hij nu echt weer moest gaan lopen, anders zou het niet goed gaan. Tsss... In het ziekenhuis bleek hij dus toch gebroken en waren ze verbaasd dat hij al zo lang zonder gips heeft rond gehobbeld!! Lekker weer!! Nu dus in het gips... Zes weken, ai ai ai.. Ons lange weekend wandelen in Limburg komend weekend kunnen we dus wel vergeten en nog een paar leuke andere geplande dingen... En Pim zit een week thuis, want hij werkt best een eind weg en dat gaat effe niet. Heel vervelend, maar hopelijk komt het na de zes weken allemaal weer goed en kan hij dan weer fijn aan de wandel! Fijne avond allemaal!

For a friend, who collects boeddha's, I made this card. The paper in the cicle, I totally loved, when I saw this in the shop. For a while I didn't know what to do with it, but now this is what I used it for! What do you think? I also love the green paper in the back! I just finished this card and just wanted to put it on my blog, but I was looking around at the new posts on the other blogs and then I saw Yvonne has a challenge for a card without an image. That's nice! So, I'm happy to join in in this challenge with this card! Who knows, I might have a chance in winning! And of course I hope my friend likes this new boeddha for her collection!

Today we didn't have such a lovely day... My boyfriend Pim was injured on his enkle, during tennis lessons last Thursday. Friday with the doctor they told him it was a small injury. Today we had to come back, but it was still very blown up and blue, green and yellow and Pim really could not yet stand on it. After long pushing, they said, okay let's make a photo of it then.. First the doctor actually said, he should now really start walking again, or it would go wrong. Tsss... In the hospital it turned out to be broken and they were surprised he was stumbling around with it for three days! Great! Not! So, now his leg is in the cast (is this the correct word??)... for six weeks, ai ai ai... Our long weekend away walking next weekend was cancelled, that won't happen! And a few other nice things cancelled... And Pim will be home for at least a week, because he works quite far away, so that won't work for now. Very sad, but hopefully it will all be good, after these six weeks, so that he will be able to walk well again then! A fabulous evening to you all!

Derwent egeltje

Nog een kaartje ingekleurd met Derwents, is ook wel erg leuk om te doen, hoor!! Moet alleen snel even de kleurenkaart invullen, die ik van Anne-Marije heb gekregen, want dat is lastig inschatten, door alleen naar de potloden te kijken. Ik wou nog een lekker zonnig kaartje maken met het afdrukje van dit lieve egeltje, dat ik van Chantal heb gekregen. Hij ligt zo lekker te genieten in z'n notendopje! Super! Ik hoop dat jullie hem leuk vinden en ik hoop dit weekend weer even lekker wat freubeltijd te vinden, want ik heb al weer allerlei ideeën en plannen in m'n hoofd en die moeten er toch een keer uit, anders wordt het zo vol, hi hi! Fijn weekend voor iedereen!

Another card colored with Derwent pencils, is a lot of fun to work with! I only need to fill the color-card I received from Anne-Marije, because it's a bit difficult to estimate what the colors will be like, just by looking at the pencils. I wanted to make a sunny card with the image I received from Chantal, with this really cute hedgehog. He's all cute lying there in his nutshell and really enjoying it all, so the stamped text also says 'Enjoy the moment'! Fabulous! I hope you like it and I hope to find some crafting-time this weekend, because I have all kinds of ideas and plans in my head and they have to come out sometime, because otherwise it will be full, hi hi! A lovely weekend to everyone!

Kaart challenge Pollycraft bij Tiets

Ik had me aangemeld voor Kaarten maken met Tiets en heb hier nu met mijn eerste challenge mee gedaan! Het was een echte challenge, want ook de eerste keer voor mij dat ik een digistamp heb gebruikt en ook de eerste stempel die ik met m'n nieuwe Derwents heb ingekleurd, ha ha, een echte uitdaging dus! Wat vinden jullie? Ik vond de stempel van Pollycraft echt super leuk! Op het achtergrond papier heb ik met wit nog wat extra vlindertjes gestempeld en lekker vrolijk papier er bij. Ik was zelf wel redelijk tevreden, maar ga zeker nog veel oefenen met de Derwents, want is echt super om te doen! En ik hoop dat ik het een beetje goed doe in de Challenge!

I joined the Club 'Making cards with Tiets' and for this club I now also participated in my first challenge. And it was a real challenge for me, because it was the first time I used a digistamp and also the first stamp that I colored with my new Derwent pencils, ha ha, a real challenge!! What do you think? I really liked the stamp of Pollycraft! On the background paper I stamped some extra butterflies with white ink and choose a happy flower paper with it. I was quite pleased myself, but I will surely do a lot more practicing with these Derwents, 'cause it's really great to do! I hope I'll do well in the challenge!

Lente-kaartje voor Krista

Deze lente-kaart heb ik gemaakt voor Krista. Dit is een van mijn favoriete stempels, ik vind dit meissie met de bloem zo ontzettend leuk! Dit papier werd ik ook helemaal vrolijk van, en daar hoorden natuurlijk lekkere kleuren bij van de Copics om het afdrukje in the kleuren! Wat ik ook helemaal super vind, is glanseffecten creëren met Glossy Accents van Ranger, vooral ook hier op haar broek vond ik dat echt wel leuk en de bloem knalt er zo een beetje meer uit. Als je de foto wat vergroot, dan kun je het wel zien. Ik hoop dat jullie hem leuk vinden! Bij Krista viel hij gelukkig goed in de smaak!

This springtime-card I made for Krista. This is one of my favorite stamps, I really like this girlie with the flower! From the paper, I also got very, very happy and of course, some lovely colors of Copics belonged with it, to make colorful coloring on this stamped image! What I also really love is to create shiny effects with the Glossy Accents of Ranger, especially here on her pants I liked it and also the flower comes a bit more upfront with it. If you zoom in on the pic, you can see the accents. I do hope you like it! Krista was happy with it, luckily!
